Dates, Location & Time

Our 2022 subscription will begin on June 29th or June 30th (depending on pick up location) and run for 10 weeks. There are two pick up days/locations available.

Wednesday pick up location is at Oaklands Sunset Market between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. The CSA season will start on June 29 and end on August 31.

Thursday pick up location is at Haliburton Community Organic Farms - 741 Haliburton Road - between 12:30pm and 4:30pm. We are located on Cordova Bay Ridge, 400m off the Pat Bay Highway. The CSA season will start on June 30th and end on September 1st. There is the possibility to extend the Thursday farm pick up season by 4 weeks, completing the season on September 29th. More details below in "veggie add-on & season extension" section.

Thursday farm picks ups, coincide with our community farm stand day. This will allow you to peruse the weekly offering at the farm stand and support our fellow farmers, should you choose to pick up any veggies, berries, or eggs.

Because we rely on Mother Nature, if there are any changes to our starting date, we will let you know with advance warning.

Cost & What Is Included

A subscription costs $234 (inclusive of all taxes) for the season. Each week you will take home a beautiful, curated flower arrangement designed only for our members. We will offer variation week to week in the types of flowers included and colour palettes. We will also include you in our farm emails so you'll always be the first to know of special news coming from the farm.

At this time, we are offering only the weekly option and we require members commit to the season. If you will be out of town, you are welcome to assign a friend to pick up your subscription for you.

Veggie Add-On & Season Extension

We are offering members the option to add-on a small food box to their flower subscription, for an additional $15 per weekYou must subscribe to our flower CSA in order to be eligible for this add-on. Each week members will receive 3 to 5 of our best food items, fresh from the field and true seasonal eating. We will feature one of these items in our weekly email and share a recipe so you can explore new foods and possibly gain a new favourite that you hadn't tried before! Most veggies will be familiar to you, but there may be some new-to-you foods to try. While we do not make changes for food preferences, if you have a food allergy, please make note of this at check out!

Although we are not doing an egg add-on this season, we will have plenty of eggs for purchase both at Oaklands Market and at the Thursday farm stand. Come early though if you want to get some!

Members who subscribe to our farm pick-up location will also have the option to extend their season through to the end of September. Unfortunately this is not an option to our Oaklands members because the Oaklands Sunset Market only runs for 10 weeks of the summer. The season extension will add 4 weeks to the subscription, with the last day on Thursday September 29th. The bouquets at this time of year will be slightly smaller and the extension price reflects this change. The additional 4 weeks for flowers only is $67 and the food box can also be extended for an additional $60.

Fine Print

The subscription is a full season commitment. If you are out of town, you are welcome to have a friend or family member pick up for you. We cannot issue refunds or discounts for missed pick ups.

Due to a limited number of spaces offered, if you wish to cancel your subscription, we are unable to offer a refund unless we have someone on the waitlist wishing to take over your spot. There will be a $25 administration fee for this circumstance.

We rely on the mercy of mother nature and weather is a tough one to predict. If there are any changes to start/end dates, we will give you advance warning.

Please be on time for your pick up! Missed pick ups add a lot of administration time on our side. If you know you are not going to make it to your pick up, contact us ahead of time. If you missed your pick up and we did not hear from you by the closing time of your pick up window, your subscription will be donated.

Our flowers are "zero waste." They will be wrapped in recyclable paper and bound with natural twine that is compostable. If you do not have composting options at your home, we welcome you to bring your old arrangement when you pick up your new one and we will compost it for you. Arrangements will be stored in a cooler to maximise freshness and in a bucket with water. If you want to transport your arrangement home with you in water, we recommend bringing your own jar to use.

Payments can be made via our online store. If you happen to choose offline payment, we will hold your spot for 48-hours. If payment hasn't been made after this time, your spot will be released to the next in line.

Want to purchase the subscription for a friend? No problem! We love sharing the love with others and will even make up a PDF gift certificate if you'd like.
