Dates, Location & Time

Our 2020 subscription will begin on June 4th and run for 15 weeks, finishing on September 10th.

Pick up location is Haliburton Community Organic Farms - 741 Haliburton Road - between 12pm and 5pm. We are located on Cordova Bay Ridge, 400m off the Pat Bay Highway.

Pick up days are Thursdays, which coincide with our community farm stand day. This will allow you to peruse the weekly offering at the farm stand and support our fellow farmers, should you choose to pick up any veggies, berries, or eggs.

Because we rely on Mother Nature, if there are any changes to our starting date, we will let you know with advance warning.

Cost & What Is Included

A subscription costs $180 for the season, breaking down to $12 per week. Each week you will take home a beautiful, curated flower arrangement designed only for our members. We will offer variation week to week in the types of flowers included and colour palettes. We will also include you in our farm emails so you'll always be the first to know of special news coming from the farm.

Our subscription is flower focused, which is why we chose our pick up day to coincide with our community farm stand - it still gives you the chance to pick up farm fresh food. However, thanks to requests, we have decided to also offer a "veggie box add-on." When you sign up for your flower subscription, you can choose if you'd also like to add a weekly food box for $15 per week. The food box follows all guidelines as our flowers (ie, a full season commitment) and works out to $405 for the season, for both flowers and food.

At this time, we are offering only the weekly option and we require members commit to the season. If you will be out of town, you are welcome to assign a friend to pick up your subscription for you.

Veggie Box Add-On

Due to demand, we decided to offer the option to add a food box onto your flower subscription. You must subscribe to our flower CSA in order to be eligible for this add-on. The vegetable CSA add-on costs $225 for the season, breaking down to $15 per week. You will receive our favourite and best items that we have on offer each week. Each week, we will try and give you a mix of vegetables you may have had and some that may be new to you. We will curate the food box to recipes, so the items you receive will be elements of a dish that we love. This food box subscription is smaller than what other farms offer, but remember, it is an add-on. And the farm stand is there for your convenience too!

Fine Print

The subscription is a full season commitment. If you are out of town, you are welcome to have a friend or family member pick up for you. We cannot issue refunds or discounts for missed pick ups.

Due to a limited number of spaces offered, if you wish to cancel your subscription, we are unable to offer a refund unless we have someone on the waitlist wishing to take over your spot.

Our flowers are "zero waste." They will be wrapped in recyclable paper and bound with natural twine that is compostable. If you do not have composting options at your home, we will welcome you bringing your old arrangement when you pick up your new one and we will compost it for you. Arrangements will be stored in a cooler to maximise freshness and in a mason jar with water. If you want to transport your arrangement home with you in water, we recommend bringing your own jar to use.

Food box add-ons will be designated to members by name. We will accommodate for allergies and intolerances, but ask you to trust us with the food box we design each week. We grow the staples, but also fun and exciting items that you wouldn't normally find in a supermarket. We hope our love of these items will pass on to our members. If you subscribe to the food box add-on, please bring a basket or bag to transfer your share into.

Payments can be made via e-transfer or cheque. Once you have requested your subscription, we will hold your spot for 72-hours. If payment hasn't been made after this time, your spot will be released to the next in line.

Want to purchase the subscription for a friend? No problem! We love sharing the love with others and will even make up a PDF gift certificate if you'd like.
