COMMUNITY
FOOD PROJECT
Inspired by various initiatives aiding frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Amy wondered how the farm could help and support various members of the community that have been impacted, are quarantined, are working to help others, are staying at home because of pre-existing health conditions, and generally would benefit from a little bit of positivity. After weeks of speaking to and organising with others, we are excited to launch our Community Food Project. We are partnering with the Victoria Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association, Langford Fire Rescue, and the Victoria Women's Transition House Society. Food bags can be purchased by any person, anywhere in the world, and each week we will safely deliver them in the Greater Victoria area to recipients identified by our partner organisations.
